Our website shows an accurate and up to date list of course availability. Courses are listed on the site approximately 6 months in advance. Our courses are very popular and often fill up quickly. To make sure you get a place on the date and location of your choice you should book as early as possible. Courses with limited availability are shown with a yellow flag and can still be booked. If a course is showing as available you can book it, right up to 1 hour before it is due to start.
You should let us know as soon as you can. You can cancel a course within 48 hours of booking up to 2 weeks before the course at no charge. You can also transfer a booking at no charge up to 4 weeks before your course date. You can view our full cancellation policy here.
We run hundreds of courses a year so it is not practical for us to have all our courses approved by every Royal College. Instead, all our courses are independently assessed and approved by CPD Healthcare. In addition, our leadership, management and teamwork courses are also approved by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management. You will receive an accredited certificate of attendance which your Royal College will recognise as certified CPD. Select "Other provider" when updating your portfolio.
You will receive a confirmation email with a VAT receipt attached immediately after your purchase. If you don’t receive the email please remember to check your spam folder. Please note that the VAT receipt will be in the name of the person paying. If you book multiple places on a course we are not able to issue separate VAT receipts to the other attendees. We can however provide evidence of booking to allow claims to be made for each attendee. Because all our courses take place in the UK, orders placed from outside the UK still attract VAT.
Not all our products attract VAT. In particular, printed and digital books ordered online or used at courses are not subject to VAT. In addition, VAT varies from country to country. Your VAT receipt takes this into account and the total amount of VAT shown is accurate.
All our courses and virtual training room courses are subject to UK taxes (VAT) and the price of courses will not change when you check out regardless of where in the world you live. For online courses and digital books we apply the local rate of tax for the country you are resident in. We use geolocation to work out where you are accessing our website from, but sometimes that can be different from the country you enter at checkout. This may result in a change in price (up or down) depending on whether your local rate of tax is more or less than UK VAT (20%).
Some coupon codes and discounts are linked to things you have purchased before and so you must be logged in to use them. If a coupon code requires you to be logged in you will see an error message asking you to log in. Some coupon codes are time-limited. Check your coupon code is still valid.
