Medical Interview UK are one of the leading providers on small group consultant medical interview training. We have several years experience and have trained hundreds of doctors. Our NHS Consultant led courses give individual training and work on the principle of helping you understand the structure, purpose and aim of your medical interview. Our tutors are trained interviewers and will share with you the reason behind each and every question. Knowing what the interviewer is after gives you a head start when delivering not just an effective knowledgable answer but also a structured, heirachical and opionated response.

With all our consultant interview training courses we offer Free access to the consultant section of our website containing forums, NHS related downloads, Video tutorials and practice Interview podcasts.This gives our clients the ability to work on areas that we have identified that they require to improve. We don't just identify areas in your performance or application but also give you the tools to correct them after the course.

I agree with the previous review on this course. I recently attended the consultant oxford interview course. It was a greats days training, very
personalised and NHS focused. Both the tutors were very aware of all current NHS issues.The afternoon mock interview practice was very useful. A mock
AAC panel was formed and we each practiced our new interview skills. Video feedback was great for reinforcing good and bad interview skills and also
looking at structure and content. I also got free access to the website to download many of the additional documents required to prepare fully for my

A fantastic course with high tech video feedback.The Consultants corrected the errors with my interview techniques and after watching them on video it
was so obvious to me as well. I would recommend to anyone who is serious about improving their interview performance to attend this course. They are
the only providers of this kind of feedback from all the providers. A very personal and individual based days training.I also received a free internet

I am working as a locum consultant and have been on various interview courses over the years.This course tops them all. It has been very well thought
out and is executed to perfection by a group of consultants who know all that needs to be known about the consultant interview process.rnThe 2 main
competitors who operate from london cannot compete with this company. One is a lecture based course packing you in with 200 other doctors (any grade
aswell) and the other other is run by a self styled communication expert who has never stepped into a medical interview room.rnrnMedical interviews UK
clearly has a great course here. Small numbers, tailored feedback, knowledgable tutors, small ratio of tutors to candidates (1:4 when i went).They
also provide handouts which includes a 100+ page guide on the consultant interview process and includes an A-Z on medical interview hot topics. The
course only contained 1 lecture with the rest of the day split into workshops covering the essential material and then mock interview sessions for
everyone. All the sessions were video recorded and then played bakc so various interview "ticks" could be pointed out and our general
communication skills improved.rnThe venue in oxford was very professional, good food, pleanty of parking and not too far from my home in london. The
day was very enjoyable and i have my mock interview video recorded onto DVD so i can watch and improve my skills in my own time.rnA great course run
by NHS consultants who know their material who tailored every aspect of the day to us. rnrnA highly recommended course. Better than the hammersXXXX or
ISx courses by a long way.
