Written around the NHS management and leadership framework this course ticked all the management competency boxes for my spr management training. Delivered by a team on NHS consultants, doctors, business psychologists and corporate trainers this course opened my eyes to what was previously an unknown area for me. The course was styled around the participants with a very interactive programme. Group and individual task activities delivered the curriculum in small bite sized pieces that reinforced the theory and made complete sense. Small group numbers in an excellent location made this the most valuable training course i have ever been on. Due to limited delegate numbers i would advise booking early. For me a real gem. Many of our group had been on the Keele or Kings fund course which were in the shadows of this programme. Dr H.K Surgical SpR London. December 2009 Thank you Oxford Medical. A fully interactive and enjoyable programme. The sessions on personality testing and conflict management were brilliant. The way you structured time management into simple tasks will make a real difference to my day to day job and i found the negotiation scenarios tough but stimulating. The way the management course was written with a full medical flavour gave it more structure and relevance to my job. I will highly recommend this course to my colleagues. Dr F.R Paediatric Emergency Medicine SpR Bath. November 2009 I previously had no understanding of the NHS structure and financing. In 3 hours you delivered what i have struggled over 10 years as a doctor to understand. The business planning exercises gave me a real insight into how to lead and deliver new and exciting services within my field. I will definitely be booking onto one or two of your other courses. If they live up to the quality, focus and insight of this course i will be very please. Many thanks. Mr H.T Consultant Radiologist London. February 2010 There have been few moments which i can remember in my training which have had as big an impact on me as this 3 day management and leadership course. Simply delivered exactly what it said on the tin. My thinking about the NHS and my role as a leader and manager within my speciality are now changed forever. A real breath of fresh air and this course has given me so many practical tips for me to really have an impact for my patients and hospital. Dr D.S Spr4 Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Birmingham. January 2010
